In connection with the TDR Global Research Mentorship Contest which was launched in 2019, the TDR Global African Node has the pleasure to invite you to join our November webinar to outdoor the contest Semi Finalist from the African region (flyer attached).

The purpose of the webinar will be to outdoor our semi-finalists of the ended research mentorship contest. They will each be given an opportunity to share their research mentorship ideas with the TDR Global African community. You will have the opportunity to ask questions directly or through the chat option. Alternatively, the webinar will be live on our Facebook page (TDR Global African Node), so you can kindly leave comments or ask questions. Please see the attached flyer.

Jonathan Suurbaar, is an MPhil fellow at The West African Centre for Cell Biology of Infectious Pathogens (WACCBIP) at the University of Ghana - Legon. As a trainee, Jonathan has been involved in malaria research, specifically; in malaria vaccine candidate assessment and preclinical studies. He aspires to develop his capacity in translational medicine especially in infectious disease vaccinology and Immuno-therapeutics in Africa.

Helen Habib, is a doctoral candidate at the Department of Population, Family & Reproductive Health at the School of Public Health, University of Ghana. Her doctoral thesis is concentrated on the provision of Respectful Maternity Care for Pregnant Adolescents in Ghana. Her wider research interests are focused on the interrelationships between Gender, Health and Development. She looks forward to teaching and conducting extensive & resourceful research in these fields.
