AIM OF THE MSC IN BIOETHICS PRORAMME

The programme aims to produce high calibre individuals who would ensure ethical implementation of public health interventions including the conduct of research.

EMPLOYMENT PROSPECTS

Upon completion, graduates may be employed as Bioethicists providing technical support to the many and growing Ethics Review Committees in Ghana and in the sub-region.

Individuals in government ministries, departments, and agencies, private institutions, health institutions, educational/research institutions, and international agencies as well as local NGOs.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must posses a good first degree (a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division) in any of the following areas of study: Social Sciences, Humanities, Environmental Health, Biological and Biomedical Sciences, Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Basic and Applied Sciences, Pharmacy, Public Health, Law, Nursing/Midwifery. Have at least one (1) year relevant work experience post degree or professional qualification in the stated or other relevant areas.
