He is also the author of four books, and has published several poems, as well as 2 feature Docu-dramas that have been exhibited by M-Net worldwide. Creative Works: Dr. Norman is also a contemporary fine artist. His genre includes modern primitivism, abstract paintings, and expressionist pieces. His works are influenced by Gauguin, (French/Tahiti); Rothko, (U. S. A); Motherwell, (U. S. A.) and Modigliani, (Spain). His use of color is reminiscent of Chagall, (French); Miro, (Spain) and Matisse, (French). His works have been exhibited in prestigious galleries, including the Montserrat Gallery, Soho, New York City, (1994); Norfolk Hotel, Nairobi, Kenya, (1992); and Trade Bank Foyer, Nairobi, Kenya, (1993); Trumbull, Connecticut Public Library, (1995) Artist Alliances, Teshie-Nungua, (Since 1998-present); and Novotel Hotel, (2000). |
