About

Juliana Yartey Enos is an Associate Professor in the Department of Epidemiology of the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research, and the Department of Population, Family and Reproductive Health of the School of Public Health, University of Ghana, Legon. She has over 30 years of experience in research, teaching, policy and programming, with about 12 years of progressive responsibility working with United Nations Agencies (World Bank, WHO, UNICEF) on reproductive, maternal, child and adolescent health issues, including malaria and HIV in pregnancy, and health systems; providing leadership, policy and programmatic guidance to countries, knowledge management, capacity development, partnership coordination and support to UN coordination and joint programming activities.

Her professional and research interests include implementation research for health systems strengthening and effective delivery of public health interventions, leveraging resources to strengthen reproductive health services as a platform for the integration of HIV and other RMNCAH interventions, and capacity development for public health practice and leadership. Dr. Enos received her Master of Public Health (MPH) and Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) degrees in International Health from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health in Baltimore, Maryland, USA.
