The School of Public Health successfully organized a two-day retreat from March 25–26, 2026, at Platinum Bay Hotel, Abokobi.

The retreat brought together Heads of Departments, Deputy Registrar/ School Administrator, Senior Staff, School Accountants, Auditor, and Risk Officers to deliberate on Enterprise Risk Management within the school.

The participants were introduced to the concept of ERM, its relevance to the University’s risk governance framework, and practical approaches to risk assessment and treatment. A comprehensive SWOT analysis of the school was conducted.

The retreat provided a platform for strategic alignment and capacity building expected to enhance governance, risk management, and strategic implementation within the School of Public Health, in line with the University of Ghana’s vision.
