This course is designed for human, animal and environmental health professionals and leaders who are involved in pandemic preparedness and response efforts in the ECOWAS region.

The course aims to equip participants with comprehensive knowledge and skills necessary to prevent and prepare for epidemic or pandemic outbreaks in the context of ECOWAS regional integration. It covers a diverse range of topics including leadership and management, inter-institutional communication and coordination, epidemiology, public health strategies, and cooperation amongst human, animal, and environmental health sectors in the spirit of "One Health".
