The Department of Epidemiology and Disease Control, School of Public Health, University of Ghana, hereby invites the University community to the 5th Annual Conference on Pharmacoepidemiology in Africa (ISPE AfRIG 2026), which will be held from 20–22 April 2026 at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel.

The conference is organised by the African Regional Interest Group (AfRIG) of the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology, with support from the Department of Epidemiology and Disease Control. It will bring together researchers, policymakers, regulators, industry professionals, and other stakeholders to advance discussions on pharmacoepidemiology and the use of real-world evidence to promote safer health technologies across Africa.
