
The School of Public Health congratulates Mr. David Koramoah-Boamah , a Principal Accounting Assistant who was honored with the “Youngest Emerging Sustainability Champion” award by Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG), Greenvista Strategies, and Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) in the 2026 Global Sustainability Workshop (GSW 2026), held in Cape Town, South Africa, from 27th April to 1st May 2026.
The high-level international workshop served as a capacity-building platform aimed at strengthening practical knowledge and institutional readiness in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices, sustainability reporting, climate-related disclosures, and strategic integration.
The programme brought together global experts and professionals for intensive learning. The workshop featured expert-led technical sessions, case-based group learning, peer engagement, and field experiences, providing participants with hands-on exposure to globally recognized frameworks such as the GRI Standards and IFRS S1 and S2.
The Deputy Registrar/School Administrator, on behalf of the school, congratulated him for his dedication, commitment and hard work and wished him well in his future endeavors’.
