A Research Driven Community
Since its founding in 1994, the school has advanced research, health education and practice to create the much-needed solutions to public health in the Ghana Health Service and other health systems in Ghana and Africa. The school has a focus on applied research with strong multidisciplinary focus linked to key issues in Ghana and around the world.
The school has established extensive research partner network with leading institutions in over 35 countries on a regional and international scale. Another strength of the school lies in its numerous collaboration and alliances with non-university research institutions in Ghana and Africa. Faculty, staff and students of the various departments in the School are involved in research across traditional subject boundaries. Below are some of the research projects that have been undertaken by faculty of the school.
